Vindaloo Sauce -
This is an authentic coastal recipe from Goa, inspired by the Portuguese who settled there. The word “Vindaloo” comes from a combination of “Vin” meaning Vinegar and “Aloo” meaning Garlic in Portuguese. This is a Goanese Classic dish.
Ingredients:
Water, Red Wine Vinegar, Ginger Puree (Ginger, Water), Spices,
Garlic Puree (Garlic, Water), Sugar, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Dehydrated Granulated Onion, Salt, Lemon Juice, Dehydrated
Jalapeno Granules, Corn Starch, Citric Acid.
Recipe:
- Pour the sauce in the saute pan / microwave safe container and heat.
- Add 1 Lb. of boneless cubed pork.
- Cook for 7-8 minutes or till done.
- Serve with basmati rice.
